Youth Orchestras Unite at BAYOF Hope

On Sunday, SFCV was on hand to support the annual Bay Area Youth Orchestra Festival, which took place at Weill Hall, Green Music Center on the Sonoma State campus. Taking part in the festival were the Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Oakland Youth Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the Young People's Symphony Orchestra. Proceeds from the concert were donated to homeless youth organizations, chosen by the musicians themselves. In this photo essay, Dennis Wigent captures the day behind the scenes.
