I haven't laughed so hard from an operatic review as I have just done in reading your review of The Maid of Orleans. Love your style — informative so one can visit previous productions brought forth in your recollection, and astutely aware of all levels of production from voice to stage mechanics so one can visualize vividly all that was experienced on our S.F. Opera stage, as was my recent pleasure. I do hope that you will do more operatic reviews. Your writing is deep, expansive, and at the same time delightful. Thanks for the read! — Carol Upshaw
