Audition for the San Francisco Choral Society

San Francisco Choral Society

The 21 year old San Francisco Choral Society, under the artistic direction of Robert Geary, will be holding auditions on Tuesday, August 24th at 7pm at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 201 Eucalyptus, in San Francisco.

Those planning on auditioning will be measured on their vocal blending abilities, tone, range, pitch, sight reading, singing with others and some solo singing.

The Choral Society will begin first rehearsals for its Fall Concert on Tuesday, August 31 at 7pm, also at the Lakeside Church.

This large amateur chorus presents concerts year-round, with professional orchestra and soloists. With its large size, the Choral Society focuses on major choral classics, but has also commissioned new works occasionally. This group has a strong educational focus, providing vocal training for its members, as well as for gifted high school and college student through an internship program.
