Adrienne Malley

Adrienne Malley is a freelance performer and instructor in the San Francisco Bay Area. She enjoys performing with many ensembles including the San Francisco Symphony, Symphony Silicon Valley, and the regional symphonies of Berkeley, Monterey, Napa, Oakland, Santa Cruz, and Santa Rosa. She is a founding member of the woodwind sextet, Frequency 49, and a member of Avenue Winds, a woodwind quintet dedicated to performing the music of local San Francisco Bay Area composers. She is a past member of the Divisa Ensemble, a chamber ensemble comprised of mixed winds and string instruments.

Adrienne received her Bachelor of Music degree in Oboe Performance from the University of Michigan School of Music, and her Master of Music degree at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. Her principal teachers have included Nancy Ambrose King, Mark Ostoich, Harry Sargous, and Shelley Heron.

An avid teacher, Adrienne maintains a private studio on the Peninsula. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, tennis, hiking through Stulsaft Park with her dog Zoey, and cheering for the Boston Red Sox!
