Recent Kennedy Center Honors Awardee Bill T. Jones returns to Berkeley with his groundbreaking troupe, the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, and a new work, Story/Time (Feb. 24–25). Currently in development, this multidisciplinary work will incorporate an original score with film and other media, short stories from Jones’s own life and his ever-inventive choreography. In combining technology and dance, Jones attempts to connect his “inner world, the stories, the ideals that move me, with an external world, [my dancers] and the audience and…the social network,” he said recently in the Christian Science Monitor.
