The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, founded by trumpeter, composer and bandleader Irvin Mayfield, has emerged as one of the “leading voices of the Crescent City’s modern jazz tradition” (Detroit Free Press). Mayfield bring his band to Cal Performances for the first time.
