Music inspired by the stars, the planets and the universe beyond! Newest explorations will be by Berkeley-based composer Mason Bates in a world premiere about transmissions to outer space, and "Cells Planets" by Erica Lloyd of Little Grey Girlfriend in a new arrangement specially for Chanticleer. Fantastic early works by Monteverde, Marenzio, and Palestrina, romantic works by Schumann and Mahler, and 20th century composers: Britten, Mechem, Hopkins, Gershwin and others!
