Fremont Symphony Orchestra

Fremont Symphony Orchestra Children’s Concerts

For over 30 years the Fremont Symphony Orchestra has presented free annual Children’s Concerts, providing an opportunity for several thousand school-age children in our community to hear live symphonic music. The concerts feature a guest appearance by one of our Young Artist Competition winners.
An added feature is a Young Composer Competition, where students submit original works. A handful of these are selected, professionally orchestrated, and performed at the concerts with the winning composer in attendance.

There are two performances on March 30, 2010 at the Ohlone College Gymnasium: 10:30am and Noon.

Call the FSO office at 510-794-1659 ex. 2 to make reservations for your class.
There will be a Young Composers’ Competition in conjunction with the Children’s Concert.  This competition is for elementary aged children in the Fremont schools.
