Napa Valley Museum brings the world of fashion and entertainment together featuring costumes from San Francisco Opera performances and programs that will inspire the muse in all of us at Mozart's Muses, the exhibition opening February 10 and running through April 30.
More than 35 costumes from operas including idomeneo, Cosi Fan Tutti, Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni and others can be viewed in settings with period furniture, a baby grand piano and artist renderings. Programs include:Divas Unzipped: Costuming the Stars of San Francisco Opera; Mozart's Muses in Arias and Duets; a Film Screening of Mozart's Sister;The Mozart Supremacy presented by Grammy-Award winning conductor Thomas Conlin; The Art of Costume Design by Pattern Maker Sandra Ericson and a Mask-Making program for families.
