September in the Rain—the songs of Harry Warren
Harry Warren is one of the unsung heroes of Hollywood songwriters and the Great American Songbook. He had more hit songs than Irving Berlin. Songs like I Only Have Eyes For You and Jeepers Creepers to Lullaby of Broadway and The More I See You. This concert will celebrate his tunes featuring the wonderful lyrics of Al Dubin, Mack Gordon and Johnny Mercer. Mike's trio will delve into Harry Warren's jazz side and Wesla will bring her superb interpretive skills to his best movie songs.
