Violinist Hilary Hahn comes to SFP at the absolute peak of her technical and musical powers. Her varied repertoire ranges from Bach to Stravinsky, Beethoven to Korngold (she won a 2008 Grammy for her recording of Schoenberg and Sibelius concertos), and she has premiered and recorded concertos written for her by Edgar Meyer and Pulitzer Prize-winner Jennifer Higdon. Expect this program to be something of a master class in the violin sonata.

More About This Event
