Midori has privately cherished the solo violin works of J.S. Bach throughout her stellar career, and she has chosen to perform them publicly on rare occasions. Midori herself approached SF Performances with the request to perform all of Bach’s sonatas and partitas in the intimate and warm acoustics of St. Mark’s—they promise to be among the most-anticipated musical events of this season.

More About This Event
For a famous violinist, Midori cuts an intentionally low profile, so you can be forgiven for not noticing that she will be performing a Bay Area recital soon, for San Francisco Performances.
