San Francisco Renaissance Voices (Todd Jolly, Music Director) presents "Songs of War & Peace," part of their 2009-10 Season, "Music in Time of War" with guest artists Diana Rowan, Celtic harp and Tom Chandler, oud. Featured is Tomas Luis de Victoria's "Missa pro victoria," Guillaume Dufay's "Fall of Constantinople," Clement Janequin's "Battle of Renty" and other music from the Renaissance and Early Baroque, troubadour songs from the Crusades and music of the Ottoman Empire including Turkish vocal music.
