West Bay Opera produces three productions per season, one each in October, February, and May. The repertoire includes standard popular works, lesser-known operas and operettas, and occasionally operas by modern composers

West County Winds

WCW is an adult community wind ensemble located in El Cerrito. The group has been playing for audiences in the East Bay since its founding in 1985. WCW performs at the El Cerrito Performing Arts Center, El Cerrito High School.

West Edge Opera

Berkeley Opera is known for presenting opera works as musical theater, fusing music and drama to showcase emerging artists. Productions are in original language with super-titles or in English and ticket prices are kept affordable.

West Valley Masterworks Chorale

The West Valley Masterworks Chorale is a college-based, community ensemble serving the San Jose area. The mission of the chorale is to perform great works of the choral repertoire in an eclectic and entertaining manner. This auditioned, mid-sized ensemble, founded by the late Fred Gandel, frequently performs major works with The Winchester Orchestra of San Jose under the direction of Henry Mollicone.
