A Love Story: Chanticleer

Chanticleer

This weekend the men's chorus Chanticleer opens the season with a tour of some of the great music written about love — a topic that could fill a few years worth of concerts.

The set includes the world premiere of a Stephen Paulus (of the opera Emmeline) piece, The Lotus Lovers, as well as a new arrangement of Somebody to Love by Queen's Freddy Mercury.

The wide variety of the concert showcases the group's virtuosity. They are undoubted masters of a wide variety of music stretching over 600 years. You don't find that every day in a chorus.
