Northern California Music & Art Culture Center Chamber Music

The class operates in a professional, friendly, and fun environment with individualized approach to each student and input from both the conductor and players. Focus is on the essentials of ensemble playing, such as rhythm, pitch, sight-reading, group dynamics, blending with others, and polished performances. The musical arrangements for intermediate string orchestra expose the players to a variety of styles. Baroque, romantic, classical, pop and even twentieth century arrangements are read, rehearsed and performed with public performance opportunities available every semester.
