Evin Blomberg, Violinist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, will lead a masterclass with GSYO Camilla Kolchinksy Orchestra violinists. Evin grew up in Palo Alto and was a student of Alexander Barantschik and Davis Law. She attended the Preparatory Division program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and was a member of the Golden State Youth Orchestra (formerly known as the El Camino Youth Symphony) for many years. Prior to joining the Prep program at SFCM, Evin studied with the late Dr. Camilla Kolchinsky. Currently, Evin lives in Independence, Kentucky and plays in the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Previously, Evin was based in London, England, where she performed in the violin sections of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra.
