The program includes Beethoven's Fourteen Variations, Op. 44; Ernest Chausson's Trio in G Minor, Op. 3; and Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition, arranged by Trio Solisti.

Celebrating the New York City-resident Trio's 10th anniversary, violinist Maria Bachmann, cellist Alexis Pia Gerlach, and pianist Jon Klibonoff were the founding ensemble of Colorado's Telluride Music Festival.

The Trio's new CD releases have intriguing items — Moravec: Vita Brevis with soprano Amy Burton, on Naxos American Classics, and Dvořák's "Dumky" and F-minor Piano Trios — but live, in Burlingame, they may be even more appealing.

Members of the Alexander String Quartet, long-time collaborators in the chamber series and the Kohl for Kids education programs, are honorary chairs of music at Kohl's 30th Season, and will be on hand to host many of the season's concerts. The ASQ will be featured in two concerts later this season, each with guest soloist.
