New York City Opera to Return Under Reorganization Plan

A bankruptcy court judge confirmed on Jan. 12 the New York City Opera will be revived under a new reorganization plan, according to the New York Times. The company, which had filed for bankruptcy protection in 2013, will now be managed by the group NYCO Renaissance and plans to present Puccini’s Tosca on Jan. 20-24 at the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
