A day after their appearance at the America’s Cup stage, the San Francisco Symphony brings some of the same repertoire to a completely free concert in Dolores Park. It promises to be an absolutely perfect summer pops concert, provided the weather cooperates. Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture and Beethoven’s Egmont Overture share space with Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man and the suite from Rodeo. Not to mention a little John Williams thrown in on the side.
