Cantare con Vivo is doing Sergei Rachmaninov’s deeply moving Vespers (All-Night Vigil) as their spring concert. Again, as last year, they’re also offering a completely free performance on March 15th at Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland as a benefit for their after school music education program. This (shortened) performance will also include children from Cantare’s own children’s choirs performing the treble parts (as Rachmaninov intended).
