Songs of San Francisco: From Gold Rush to Golden Gate (1840s-1930s)

SF Bach Choir

Hot on the heels of the recent exhibition of California-inspired sheet music, comes a fun and fascinating concert by the San Francisco Bach Choir of those songs. The program “Songs of San Francisco” is led by Artistic Director Corey Jamason who will also play piano. Soloists Brian Thorsett and Gina Morgano and a choir of Bay Area youth join the choir to explore the city’s history from the 1840s through the 1930s.

As a bonus, students and kids 18 years and younger will be admitted for free. Education that’s both free and is good for a laugh and a cry – sounds like a deal.
