San Francisco

Our concerts will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 5 p.m. in Mission Dolores Basilica, San Francisco.

To arrange for an audition (ability to blend and sing in tune, some sight reading skill expected) or obtain further information, contact Music Director Robert Gurney at 415-721-4077 or [email protected]. For further information about us, check our website at http://www.sflc.org

Our Summer 2017 program features works that explore the drama and emotions connected with the human experience. We feel the tender, maternal qualities of the Virgin Mary in Verdi’s Laudi alla Vergine Maria and see the vast beauty of a heaven full of stars in Eriks Esenvalds setting of Sara Teasdale’s poem, Stars. Each of our composers enhances the texts with music so that we can feel the emotions of the experiences.
