Staff Singer / Section Leader

Now Hiring Professional Choral Singers – $200/week, 1 Rehearsal, 1 Service.

Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church is seeking experienced choral singers to serve as staff singers / section leaders in the semi-professional Chancel Choir. Musical excellence and friendly community are long-standing hallmarks of the LOPC music program and qualified applicants will possess these same qualities.

Current openings: Soprano, Alto, Tenor

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong ensemble singing skills
• Friendly and welcoming disposition
• Ability to sing in various musical styles
• Willingness to take musical direction
• Dedication to supporting volunteer singers
• Availability to attend the following scheduled calls:
  • Thursday rehearsal 7:00-8:30pm
  • Sunday service 10:00-11:00am (8:30am call)
  • Christmas concert (second weekend in December)
  • Christmas Eve services
  • Holy Week services
  • Other special services as outlined in the choir schedule
