Susan Freier

I am a performing violinist/violist with the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, Co-Artistic Director of the Ives Collective and Principal violist of the Mendocino Music Festival. I have also coached at the SoCal Chamber Music Workshop for many years. Having graduated from Stanford, I was thrilled to return to serve on the faculty of Stanford University where I was violinist of the Stanford String Quartet. My students have ranged from school age children to adults ever since I returned to the Bay Area.
