Composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi performs his latest album, The Summer Portraits. The album was inspired by the beautiful oil paintings he discovered during his stay in a Mediterranean villa. In the words of the composer, "I started to make my own paintings with music. This album is dedicated to all our endless summer memories, all our beautiful moments.”

Sound & Wine is an annual fundraising event dedicated to the Contemporary Music Players' contribution to the Bay Area's cultural ecology. The event provides an opportunity for our greatest supporters, donors, subscribers, and members to connect intimately with one another, as well as with our musicians, staff and Board members. We invite you to bring your music-loving friends and join in conversation, performance, food, beverage, and a silent auction as we celebrate in style with members of our tight-knit community of contemporary music enthusiasts.
