Janis Mercer plays selections from her new CD commemorating the 75th anniversary of the death of Anton Webern. Featured is The Kinderstück Project, a collection of short works for piano by local student and professional composers using Webern’s Kinderstück row.  Composers include Brian Belet, Pablo Furman, Donivan Johnson, and Martha Stoddard among others.  William Sorenson performs Roger Sessions’ rarely heard Piano Sonata No. 1 and Stravinsky’s Piano Rag Music. This concert is a ticketed (pre-sale only), live-streamed event. Pre-sale tickets will be available until 45 minutes before showtime. 30 minutes before showtime, ticket buyers will be sent a private link to the YouTube video of the live-streamed concert.
