Violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky was born in Moscow into a distinguished musical family which includes violinists Dmitri Sitkovetsky and Julian Sitkovetsky as well as pianist Bella Davidovich.
He performs at the world’s top festivals and at most prestigious halls. He has played concertos with such orchestras as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Konzerthaus Orchester Berlin, Munich Chamber Orchestra, Academy of St. Martin’s in the Fields, Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, St Petersburg Symphony and the Tokyo Symphony.
He collaborates regularly with such artists as Janine Jansen, Maxim Rysanov, Misha Maisky, Eric Le Sage, Polina Leschenko and Julian Rachlin, and is a member of Julia Fischer’s string quartet.
