Season Opener / Fund Raiser

Presented by Community Concerts at Epworth

“I can’t wait to share these works that look deeply at our world and help us find connection and meaning.” These are the words of Artistic Director, Caroline Lee, as Community Concerts at Epworth begins its Sixth Season.

Our four-concert Fall Schedule was originally planned as a celebration of Ludwig van Beethoven's 250th birth year. We've enriched the program by commissioning new works by Daniel Bernard Roumain and Kay Kyurim Rhee. Their compositions will speak to the times we are living in and bring their own perspectives as composers of color. You'll hear the world premier performances later this season.

Donations from the Season Opener underwrite the remainder of the concert series. We hope you will consider a generous donation, so we can continue to support our world-class artists and offer Community Concerts free of charge.

Our fall performances will be streamed live from our home venue, Epworth Church in Berkeley. Watch and listen Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm on the Community Concerts website: www.communityconcertepworth.org or the Community Concerts Facebook page: facebook.com/communityconcertepworth
