Admission: $20.00 advance / $22.50 door. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Admission includes a post-concert reception with a chance to meet the artists.
“Ari” is a Korean word with multiple meanings: big river, wisdom and beauty. Ensemble Ari is a group of Korean American musicians in the Bay Area who wants to share this quality with the community. Our mission is to bridge Korea and other communities through western instruments while honoring Korean history and culture.
Ensemble ARI will perform American composer Amy Beach's Trio. Beach's Piano Trio shows her mastery and idiomatic writing that negates the belief that “women cannot write like men,” which prevailed during her lifetime. She is remembered as a central figure in the history of women in music.
Tickets are available at the door, or online at www.fcpcsanjose.com/fccs. Online tickets are available up to 48 hours prior to concert start. Tickets purchased online will be waiting for you at the door. Online tickets are non-refundable, but may be applied to future concerts if you notify us prior to concert.
