Mercury Soul explores the world of folk, playing folk-infused electronic, classical, & bluegrass music, interspersed by DJs Masonic (Mason Bates) & Justin Reed spinning sounds from the global folk landscape, combining folk with pulsing electronica, house, and more.

Headlining the show is internationally-famed DJ Gavin Hardkiss (AKA Hawke) playing irresistible tracks that fold musical traditions from around the world into a deep house style.

Bay Area bluegrass staple Hot Buttered Rum will give a high-energy performance, as will virtuoso string quartet Vitamin Em playing folk-inspired classical masterpieces from John Adams, Béla Bartók, Mark O’Connor, Brahms and Dvorak.
