 Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro"

Master's Students of the San Francisco Conservatory have organized their own production of Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro", sung in Italian, accompanied by a 24-piece orchestra. Completely student run and produced, Elena Galván (M.M. Voice '13) and CharleaLyn Grieco (M.M. Voice '13) have hired Maestro Maestro Matthias Kuntzsch to coach and conduct the singers and Ted Zoldan ('11 B.M. Voice) to direct this masterpiece. Matthias Kuntzsch is the Music Director and conductor at BASOTI. Born in Germany, he has been a conductor of symphony and opera all over the world. Kuntzsch is a leading conductor of German and Italian repertoire and especially loves Mozart. Ted Zoldan, an SFCM Alumni, will be directing Mozart's "Don Giovanni" for Pocket Opera this summer. His previous direction credits include an ad hoc project of Don Giovanni, SFCM Opera Workshop scenes, BASOTI Scenes, and an ad hoc project of Barber of Seville.
