The winner of the 2019 Nova Vista Mary Jane Beck Young Artist Concerto Competition, Sean Mori, will be featured in the program playing the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. Sean is a scholarship student at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College program and has won multiple competitions including United States International Music Competition and the Symphony Parnassus Concerto Competition.
Also on the program is Shostakovich's short but fiery Festive Overture and Kodály's beautiful Peacock Variations.
There will be a pre-concert talk at 7:00 pm.
