Local composer and conductor, Henry Mollicone, has written numerous works for orchestra, chorus, opera and chamber music. “Behind Me Dips Eternity” is a piece for string orchestra and harp based on a poem by Emily Dickinson. Gerald Finzi wrote “In Terra Pax” as a setting for two verses from Robert Bridges’ poem, “Noel: Christmas Eve, 1913” for baritone and soprano soloists, chorus, and orchestra. The second half of the program features the movie music of John Williams, including some of his most popular works from “Schindler’s List” and “Star Wars”.
