Pacific Musical Society & Foundation 2019 Winners Concert

Pacific Musical Society & Foundation proudly presents the First Prize Winners of its 2019 music competition at its Annual Winners Concert in the beautiful Green Room at San Francisco War Memorial.

For over a century, Pacific Musical Society & Foundation has nurtured the growth of gifted musicians by awarding merit-based scholarships to promising students in the Bay Area and surrounding regions. Each year Pacific Musical holds a competition for instrumentalists, pianists, vocalists, chamber groups, and composers in various age categories. Winners receive scholarship awards to support their ongoing musical education. The results are announced at a public concert in which the first place winners perform. Past winners included Yehudi Menuhin, Leon Fleisher, and Ruth Slenczynska.

You are invited to join a reception before the concert to enjoy food and wine, mingle with fellow classical music lovers and Pacific Musical members, and hear more about the work Pacific Musical is doing to help young musicians succeed in the world of classical music.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children under 13 and students with valid student ID. An adult ticket can be presented at the event bar as a voucher for one alcoholic beverage.
