Raved as "The Rockstar of the Flute" (Informador de Guadalajara), flute soloist Ray Furuta is highly praised for his "sophisticated" (Repeat Performances) and "strong and attractive" (San Francisco Classical Voice) performances, establishing a reputation as "one of the nation's top emerging young concert artists."(Del Mar Times) .
Palo Alto Philharmonic Principal Flutist, Natalie Haworth-Liu, is a highly respected music educator and performer in the Bay Area. Since 2004, she has performed many of the great symphonies and orchestral works with the Palo Alto Philharmonic, and frequently appears as a soloist for their chamber and Baroque music concert series.
Ray and Natalie will be performing the world premiere performance of Composer in Residence Lee Actor's Double Concerto for Two Flutes.
