The new Piedmont Chamber Orchestra will play its second concert in its brief history. It is a community orchestra and is composed of some of the most important musicians of the SF Bay Area and enthusiastic amateurs. The concert is June 15 at 4:00 at the Piedmont Center for the Arts. This concert will be conducted by Martha Stoddard and guest conductor Christine Brandes. The program will feature three beautiful works: A brilliant overture by Mozart, a spring-like serenade by Edward Elgar and the glowing Czech Suite by Antonin Dvorak.
