Julio Lemos, seven-string guitar on Brazilian music

Julio Lemos studied with renowned musicians such as Guinga, Marcos Tardelli, Marco Pereira, Alencar 7 Cordas, Rogério Caetano, Nelson Faria, Henrique Pinto and Paulo Belinatti. He holds degrees in classical guitar from Federal University of Goiás, guided by Werner Aguiar.

Lemos is a music professor at Federal University of Goiás and performs solo recitals and with several music groups. He has performed in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, French, Germany, the U.S. and China. His repertoire ranges the works of composers such as Villa Lobos, Radames Ganattali, Garoto, Guinga, Baden Powell, Astor Piazzolla, Marco Pereira and his own songs.
