"One of the transforming figures of early 21st-century jazz" (The Guardian), saxophonist and composer Steve Lehman performs with his trio featuring the incomparable rhythm section of bassist Matt Brewer and drummer Damion Reid, joined by pianist Joshua White, premiering music from Lehman's new Recordings album The People I Love.
For this date, Lehman revisits the clockwork trio he debuted on the 2012 Pi Recordings release Dialect Fluorescent, with the addition of White pushing the band's trajectory into unexplored new realms.
