Celebrate summer’s last hurrah and the arrival of autumn in a musical moment designed to both stir and soothe the senses. Renowned pianist Elizabeth Walter will be performing on the legendary 1899 Henry F Miller concert grand which currently resides in Petaluma’s Carnegie Hall, the 1906 Carnegie Library which possesses find acoustics and an intimate setting well-suited for solo and chamber music. Elizabeth has crafted a solo concert to delight all lovers of classical music. She brings together traditional favorites and more modern pieces to weave a tapestry of sound. Mozart’s lively and joyful piano Sonata in B-flat, K333; Beethoven’s dramatic and soulful Pathétique Sonata, opus 13; Maurice Ravel’s charming reverie, Sonatine and Argentinian composer Alberto Ginastera’s intense piano Sonata, opus 22.
