Internationally renowned French-Italian organist Domenico Severin opens the Arts at St. Bede's 2019-20 season with a recital which is a collaboration between The Arts at St. Bede’s series and the Palo Alto/Peninsula chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Mr. Severin is the Titular Organist at the St. Etienne Cathedral in Meaux France, and has been featured artist at organ festivals and in recitals throughout Europe and the United States. His specialties include early music performed upon historical instruments, as well as rarely performed Italian organ music of the late 19th - early 20th centuries. Mr. Severin has recorded for the Rainbow, Syrius, and Appassionato labels. The repertoire for this recital was chosen specifically for St. Bede's 1969 Von Beckerath organ. A reception will follow the recital.
