Highlights of Verdis comic masterpiece: "Falstaff." This is a free preview with piano, featuring principal singers from the "Falstaff" cast. A chance to hear them, learn about the opera and chat with the artists afterwards while enjoying some refreshments. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The event lasts one hour. No tickets or reservations required.

About the opera: Sir John Falstaff writes identical love letters to two different married women to try to woo them and get at their husbands' money. The women compare notes and band together to teach him a lesson. It's Shakespeare and Verdi teaming up to deliver a comedic tour-de-force like no other in the entire operatic repertoire. Presented fully staged, with chorus and orchestra. In Italia, with \projected English titles. Sets by Peter Crompton. Costumes by Abra Berman. Ragnar Conde, director. José Luis Moscovich, conductor.
