The Women’s Antique Vocal Ensemble (WAVE) will present a concert that explores finding warmth in the cold and facing the light in times of darkness. Traditional carols will be interspersed with pieces by Hildegard, Palestrina, Vizzana, Britten, and others.
WAVE is directed by Shira Kammen and Phoebe J. Rosquist, also playing vielle, harp, and bells, joined by Tobi Szuts, viola da gamba, and Andrew Canepa, organ.
