Symphony of the Redwoods

Symphony Parnassus

Originally founded by medical professionals at UCSF, Symphony Parnassus is made up of working professionals. The repertoire is general focused on 19th and 20th century composers with an emphasis on lesser known works. The symphony also promotes local talent by casting soloists from the SF area including the Conservatory of Music.

Symphony Silicon Valley

Having risen from the demise of the San Jose Symphony, this professional orchestra presents eight different programs this season, running the full span of the classical repertoire. The Symphony's resident Chorale presents a holiday program of Carols, as well as two programs as part of the season.
