Bay Area Music Consortium
The Bay Area Music Consortium (BAMC) is a visionary partnership between four distinct organizations dedicated to presenting the finest in chamber music experiences: Berkeley Chamber Performances, Gold Coast Chamber Players, Mill Valley Chamber Music, and Noe Valley Chamber Music (San Francisco). With the synergy of combined resources, collective planning and a shared artistic vision, the Bay Area Music Consortium is able to present outstanding ensembles performing uniquely designed programs that enrich each of the individual member communities.

BAY AREA SUMMER ORCHESTRA PROJECT
Bay Area Vocal Academy
The Bay Area Vocal Academy (BAVA) Summer Intensive is for young singers (advanced middle-schoolers and high schoolers) looking to immerse themselves in the art of singing. Singers will learn vocal technique, stagecraft, score preparation/study, repertoire, and some foreign language. This classical singing program will touch on American Art Song, German Lieder, Italian Arias, and some Musical Theater. Our expert faculty will lead voice lessons, piano coachings, and seminars on all aspects of preparing a song. The singers will show their artistic growth in a final showcase performance at the week’s end.
