UC Alumni Chorus
The UC Alumni Chorus is a thriving 120-member ensemble, composed of UC Berkeley alumni, alumni of other UC campuses, and UC Berkeley faculty, staff and graduate students. The chorus is part of the University Choral Ensembles (UCCE) organization and is directed by Dr. Mark Sumner, UCCE Director. UCAC has an additional mission that distinguishes it from other Bay Area singing groups: It is committed to providing musical and financial support to the University of California Choral Ensembles (UCCE), a student-run umbrella organization comprised of several vocal groups on the Berkeley campus of which UCAC is one.

UC Berkeley Music Department

UC Berkeley Summer Chorus
Sponsored by the Department of Music, the UCB Summer Chorus is a fully student-run ensemble that rehearses between June through August, and gives a public performance in August in Hertz Hall. The UC Berkeley Summer Chorus is comprised of students from the university and members of the Berkeley and Bay Area community. The UC Berkeley Summer Chorus is led by a student conductor and accompanist. The experience provides a valuable learning opportunity for the student conductor and accompanist, giving them first-hand experience in preparing a concert program, rehearsing a chorus, and working with the administrative staff. In turn, the choristers have a chance to provide feedback while learning how to adapt to different conductors and styles, and increasing their knowledge of vocal technique and musicianship. https://sites.google.com/view/ucb-summer-chorus/home
