The free Concert with Conversation series features world-class musicians performing in the CMC concert hall. Each short concert is followed by a Q & A session, where the audience can learn about the lives, hard-work, and inspiration of these artists.
Cuban pianist and composer Alfredo Rodríguez has become a globally recognized Grammy nominee with multiple critically acclaimed releases on Mack Avenue Records since being discovered and produced by the great Quincy Jones. Rodríguez is leading the way for the new wave of Cuban musicians, including past collaborators Ibeyi and Pedrito Martinez, and exposing the rich musical history of Cuba to a wider audience. The evening’s program features Rodríguez’s original compositions.

This concert will be presented in the CMC Concert Hall with limited-capacity seating, as well as livestreamed online. All attendees must wear masks and present proof of vaccination upon entry to ensure the safety of our artists and patrons.

– Food and drink may be consumed in the courtyard, but are not permitted inside of the Hall.
– The maximum capacity of the Hall at this time is 50.
