Pulcinella's Dream: Music, dance and pantomime of 18th century Italian theatre

Presented by Dance Through Time

Pulcinella stands in red and green costume leaning on a cane while staring mischievously into the camera

40+ year old dance company Dance Through Time is under new direction and collaborating with Bay Area music ensemble Nash Baroque to bring a women-driven multi-media spectacle of 18th century Italian dance and music and commedia dell'arte to the Joe Goode Annex as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival. Live music, song, historical and modern dances, pantomime, comedy, drama, fencing, puppets and death. Come laugh, cry, guffaw, boo, hiss and cheer this surrealist ballet-with-a-play-within-a-play. You are the dreamers of the dreams.
