2022 Piedmont Chamber Music Festival

Presented by Piedmont Chamber Music Festival

Pianist Juliana Han performs at the 2022 Piedmont Chamber Music Festival

After a two-year COVID absence, the Piedmont Chamber Music Festival (PCMF) returns with a full program of concerts with artists from around the world in exclusive musical pairings and configurations. As the only annual summer chamber music series of its kind in the East Bay, the Piedmont Chamber Music Festival brings world-class musicians to Piedmont for a weeklong residency. The Festival presents three feature performances on Wednesday, July 20, Friday, July 22, and Sunday, July 24 at the intimate Piedmont Center for the Arts at 801 Magnolia Avenue in Piedmont, CA.

The 2022 Festival performers include the Spanish-born violinist Francisco Fullana, winner of a 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant and the 2014 Johannes Brahms International Violin Competition; First Prize winner of the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and the Sphinx Competition and a member of the Catalyst Quartet, violist Paul Laraia; and Teng Li the principal violist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.  Other performers are cellists Clancy Newman and Deborah Pae, violinists Jasmine Lin and Wayne Lee, and pianist Juliana Han.

Founded by Juliana Han and Piedmont-native Wayne Lee, the mission of the Festival, with the support of the Piedmont Center for the Arts, is to bring world-class chamber music to the East Bay in an accessible setting and to foster community building through music.
