[Opera Aficionado: Interactive Lecture Series] Interview with Soprano Leah Crocetto

Presented by San Francisco Opera

Leah Crocetto

Opera Aficionado is an exciting, new suite of programs designed for patrons who are passionate about opera. Aficionado provides an opportunity to learn more, dive deeper, and get an inside look at the world of opera.

As part of Opera Aficionado, our Interactive Lectures Series gives opera-goers around the world a front-row seat to scholarly talks, allowing attendees to dialogue with fellow opera lovers, experts, and special guests. Each month will be focused on a concept or theme relevant to all of us.

American soprano Leah Crocetto astonishes audiences with her moving portrayals of opera’s greatest heroines. The New York Times praised her as possessing an “agile coloratura technique and a feeling for the Italianate style.” And before all this, she was a young artist with Merola Opera Program and enjoyed an exciting tenure as San Francisco Opera Adler Fellow on stage at the Opera House. Opera Aficionado hosts, Cole Thomason-Redus and Kip Cranna will interview Crocetto about her career thus far, and the world-class training she received here in this City by the Bay.
